It’s mid of March and I hope I am not too late to bring up this topic because we still have 9 months to go, so I am going to reveal one of 2021 fashion trend which is : CORSET. I didn’t expect that corset is making a comeback this year but actually I also feel that corset trend never really disappears, don’t you agree? However, all thanks to Bridgerton, amazing designers like Alexander McQueen, Moschino, Isabel Marant, and of course some fashion influencers who reinvented this best body shaper again.

I personally like wearing corset as shapewear and I only wear it for special occasion so when I figured out that many influencers wearing it as their everyday outfit, even pair it with jeans or arm warmer sweater I was quite surprised and mesmerized at the same time, fashion could be made from anything!

Obviously this trend entices (and challenge) me to wear corset in different way and I guess Shapellx shapewear allows me to pick some of their items, style them, so they can be used as daily wear like what supermodels Kendall Jenner, Bella Hadid, and Insta stars did!

1. PREPPY LOOK

If I have to pick one style resembles me the most, that must be preppy. I am really into this style since I was young and even after 10 years, I am still into it. This is the style key of wearing this look : tuck in the white shirt to the corset, pair it with mini skirt and plaid blazer (you can wear beret hat to enhance the look), then add on lace up heels for a slight mature twist.

2. STREET STYLE LOOK

This must be everyone’s favorite style. It’s very applicable and trendy. You can wear bodysuit corset or any best shapewear for women, pair it with ripped mom jeans, bubble platform trainers, and of course the most hyped item, arm warmer sweater.

3. SUITING LOOK

Last but not least, suiting look. Monochrome outfit brings up elegance so you can try it by wearing full coverage bodysuit (preferably in color not black), then pair it with any similar color tailored blazer and trouser, complete them with minimalist white pumps heels. I am sure you will look like a boss lady!
