If you're a fan of natural beauty products, you're in the right page. Few weeks ago, I was introduced by my blogger friend, Ce Angela, to a local brand called ZALINA - which focusing on plant based body wash. You know how much I love body wash and nature based product so I can't miss this chance to try this body soap and share with you my experience. Let's dig in to the review!

What it is :

ZALINA is an environmentally friendly soap with pH 5.5 made from natural ingredients, detergent-free (SLS, TEA), paraben-free, dermatologist-formulated, and suits for normal to sensitive skin. It comes in three variants with a refreshing fragrance, soften and nourishes the skin.

  • Lemongrass & Aloe Vera : contains lemongrass oil, aloe vera, hyaluronic acid, coconut oil, rice brand oil, centella asiatica, bengkoang, niacinamide, papaya, and shea butter.
  • Olive & Dates : contains olive oil, dates, hyaluronic acid, coconut oil, rice brand oil, centella asiatica, bengkoang, niacinamide, papaya, and shea butter.
  • Coconut Milk & Honey : contains coconut oil, hydrolyzed milk protein, fermented honey, hyaluronic acid, rice brand oil, centella asiatica, papaya, and shea butter.











PACKAGING :
Simple brown plastic bottle that is securely sealed. Description and expiry date are on the side of the label. It has decent hole size so the liquid soap doesn't spill out everywhere.

TEXTURE :
Light gel texture with soft, pleasant scent. Lemongrass & Aloe vera has slightly yellow-ish colored gel texture with quite dominant lemongrass scent, Coconut Milk & Honey has creamy, white colored gel texture with sweet-luxury scent, while Olive & Dates has clear gel texture with soft-sweet scent.

REVIEW :
I really like the texture of this body wash and how easy it is to make the foam with foaming net. I can feel the foam feels so soft on my skin, the smell is mild and relaxing! Once I rinse it, it needs around few seconds for the soap completely gone. It doesn't leave sticky feeling though, my skin feels clean, so smooth and well-moisturized (I guess that's how hyaluronic acid works). Although the scent doesn't last for long time (it's gone after around 2 hours), I like all of the variants. If I have to pick one that I like the most, it would be Coconut Milk & Honey. Whenever I use this body wash, it feels like I am in the spa, it's super relaxing!

PROS :
  • Plant based ingredients with balanced pH, SLS-paraben free, and dermatology-tested
  • Soft, mild, unique, relaxing scents
  • Doesn't leave sticky feeling
  • Cleanse skin well
  • Smoothen, moisturize skin
CONS :
  • The scent doesn't last long
This soap is perfect for self-pampering at home as it gives a total relaxing effect. I am not sure yet if they can ship worldwide but if you're Indonesian, you can purchase their product easily from Shopee. Fyi, they're BPOM certified and every 10% of the soap purchases are set for donations for clean water distribution in small cities.     I love plant based products and the one Lemongrass & Aloe Vera sounds amazing because I love both Lemongrass and Aloe Vera. I will have to see if they ship international :) Since based off of your review this sounds amazing.
