Comeback with another product review that goes viral on social media because of its benefits and affordable price from Glad2Glow, Mugwort Salicylic Acid Acne Clay Stick. At first, I didn’t have any clue why this product became so popular among beauty lovers - not until I tried and experienced it by myself (during that period my face was quite sensitive because of redness and acne). So, is this product really worth the hype and as good as their brightening series? Let’s figure it out together!

What it is:

Glad2Glow Real Mugwort Salicylic Acid Acne Control Clay Stick is a mask made from real mugwort with a clay texture and stick shape. The main ingredient, real mugwort, claims that it effectively cleans pores deeply while calming acne inflammation. This mask is travel friendly which is very suitable for controlling oil production so that skin becomes healthier, more well-groomed and brighter. Its hero ingredients are:

  • Mugwort : as anti inflammation

  • Salicylic Acid : to cleanse pores and control sebum

  • Centella : to calm acne and irritation

How to use:

Take out the product by rotating the tiny tube, then apply the mask all over the face. Avoid eyes, lips, hair area. Leave it for about 15-20 minutes then rinse with lukewarm water.

Packaging:

Fancy, lightweight tiny green tube comes with the same color paper box and seal.

Texture:

Creamy, soft texture with pleasant scent.

Review:

I didn’t expect this clay stick to be this tiny but can be used many times. It has a lid to secure the creamy product so it won’t spill out everywhere. When I first applied the clay mask, I really enjoyed the soft yet creamy texture so it can be spread evenly over the face easily. It also has a cooling sensation and the scent is quite calming in my preference. From the before and after pictures (after applying and after 20 minutes), the mask dried a bit but it didn't make my skin dry nor itchy. It’s easy to rinse it off, however based on my experience, it doesn’t really cleanse the pores as the next morning I got some white heads and doesn’t really calm my acne wholly.

Pros:

  • Travel friendly

  • Soft, creamy texture

  • Easy to use

  • Doesn’t dry skin

  • Super affordable

Cons:

  • Doesn’t maximise deep cleanse

  • Doesn’t really calm acne

In conclusion, if you're looking for a skincare product that combines the benefits of mugwort and salicylic acid, the Glad2Glow Mugwort Salicylic Acid Acne Control Clay Stick may be worth considering. However, as with any skincare product, individual results may vary depending on factors such as skin type and sensitivity. In my case, my skin was in a super sensitive period when I tried this product so in your case it might be different (fyi, my skin type is dry combination).

As always, it's important to patch test new products and consult with a dermatologist if you have any specific skin concerns. By the way, this product is BPOM certified, plus it is SLS free, paraben free, alcohol free, mineral oil free, vegan friendly, and cruelty free.

  1. This is a brilliant idea. One of the reasons I do not use clay mask a lot any more is because it gets messy. This is a good invention.

  2. Glad2Glow Mugwort Salicylic Acid Acne Clay Stick offers convenience and affordability, it may not be the most effective solution for those seeking a deep pore cleanse or complete acne relief. You wrote a great review.
