We've been through 2016 and it is really coming to an end. Now, we are at the front door of 2017 already. My question is, are we ready to open that door? Do we still have something undone in 2016? In my case, yes. Some of my goals were not accomplished yet. However, I am feeling totally grateful for 2016 because it taught me how to appreciate my life more than ever. There are lot of things happened, either good or bad, but for now let's move aside the bad one because this time I am going to enlisted some of my best moments during 2016!


1. Doremon Secret Gadgets Expo
Doraemon is the greatest idol for 90's kids, don't you agree ? This event was held during holiday period and I attended it around January, I still remember how fun it was, there are lot of cute Doraemons!

2. Chinese New Year
Dress up, family gathering, and red envelopes! Lol, this is the moment when I became rich in just one day ( if you know what I mean ).

3. Bromo Trip
This was the first time I went to Bromo. Even it's for working purpose and I didn't climb the mountain, but I had lot of fun there!

4. Surabaya Fashion Parade
It's not my first time attending this event, but I always feel like it was my first time. When it comes to fashion, I will always learn some new things which I really love especially this year's theme is all about Batik!

5. Halloween Horror Nights at USS
This was one of my goal in 2016 and it was accomplished! You know how hard it was to persuade your friend to accompany you to join horror event, but I got them with ease! It was the best horror attraction ever! I am pretty sure I am going to attend it again next year! Fyi, I wrote the whole review of this event here.

6. Contessa Photoshoot
Our brand company's Fall Winter collection theme this year is Contessa ( which means "countess", inspired by Renaissance era ). I was feeling super grateful because the theme was my idea as well as the name. The photoshoot also went great, all the people were awesome and it's my first time working with such a talented yet well-known photographer, Hendra.

7. New Foreign Friends
Recently, I met and became friend with some foreigners who mostly are Korean and they all are so kind and nice! We talked a lot and exchange culture as well, such a great time!

8. December Gifts
December is always become the best month of my life. I really enjoy every moment during December like celebrating my birthday, helping people in needs, buying Christmas gifts for beloved people, Christmas dinner, decorating home, attending Christmas event at church, etc. All of the moments are so precious and unforgettable :)

9. Christmas with LDR Best Friend
Still in Christmas theme, this year I got chance to meet my best friend who currently live in Bali. She came to Surabaya and we spent a good quality time while drinking hot tea, listening to Christmas carols, and enjoying the Christmas decoration. It's a rare moment for us, really!


Well, it such a mind-blowing to realize how 2016 flies in just a blink of eye and ready or not, less than 48 hours we will face 2017 together. However, let's face 2017 with new hope and goals equipped with positive minds and the most important thing is God's presence, because we can do all things if He's with us!
