[REVIEW] New Shades From Looke Cosmetics BB Cushion & Loose Powder

Recently Looke Cosmetics as vegan, cruelty-free Indonesian beauty brand, just released some new shades for their best-selling products (which also my favorite) : Holy Flawless BB Cushion and Holy Smooth & Blur Loose Powder.

I am sure that it’s not only me who adore their elegant BB cushion packaging with lightweight texture, satin-matte finish, and good staying power. Same goes with their loose powder. It’s fragrance-free, able to lock makeup, soften skin and has medium coverage which for me it’s all-in-one package.

You know how much I love Looke’s products, right? Therefore, when I knew that they launched new shades of their BB cushion and loose powder, I got so excited to try them immediately because as I knowledge, these new shades embrace more people who hasn’t got the right shade for them. Curious? Let’s reveal them, shall we?

1. HOLY FLAWLESS BB CUSHION

What it is:

Weightless foundation with medium to full coverage that conceals imperfection and help skin looks flawless with satin finish. It is enriched with green tea extract and Hyaluronic Acid to maintain skin moisture, protect skin from UV light, and reduce excess sebum.

Shade options:

IRIS (Light Beige), EOS* (Nude Beige), CLIO (Medium Beige), DAMARA* (Warm Honey), DIANA (Honey Beige), and HESTIA* (Honey Bronze)

Review:

I found the shade that closely to my skin which is EOS (Nude Beige). Although it’s slightly warmer than my actual skin tone, this shade suits for my light-warm tone skin. It feels like second skin to me - super lightweight, looks natural, and its satin-matte finish makes my skin looks super smooth and flawless. I like to mix EOS with IRIS to get the precise color for my skin. Clio, Damara, Diana, and Hestia are definitely darker than my skin, but Hestia is perfect for contouring my face! Aside from its durability, this foundation can be removed easily with micellar water. It’s a win!

2. HOLY SMOOTH & BLUR LOOSE POWDER

What it is:

Loose powder with ultra-silky particles helping to blur the pores and fine lines making the skin looking soft with matte finish. It helps to lock makeup and make it lasts longer and create smooth skin effect. It is infused with Jojoba oil for hydrating skin and protecting it from UV light.

Shade options:

FREYA (Light Beige), RHEA* (Natural Beige), TERRA (Medium Beige), RESTIA* (Tawny Beige)

Review:

Among all of these 4 shades, Freya still my number one pick and the most suitable for my skin. I like to use it to lock my makeup after wearing the foundation so it stays longer and blur my pores. However, if I want to use it alone, I probably go with Rhea because it looks so natural and has warmer shade than Freya. For Terra and Restia, both are too warm and darker, so I think they will go nicely with people who has medium-deep skin tone. You can choose Terra if you have warm-undertone skin, or you can go with Restia if you have cool/neutral undertone.

Here are the pictures of me wearing both BB cushion and the loose powder. I like to combine BB cushion shade EOS with Loose Powder shade Freya to create flawless second skin. I don’t even need concealer anymore. If you have same skin tone as me, this combination will work nicely!
