I can’t believe one of my favorite local brand, LOOKE Cosmetics, have been 3 years in beauty industry! It feels like yesterday just I reviewed their first Holy Lip Series and now they already have quite lot of products from mascara, lip cream, loose powder, pressed powder, lip polish, and of course cushion. You know how much I love this brand as they’re cruelty free, vegan, and also halal - until I tried almost all of their products (you can search on my social media), and now I am excited to reveal their special edition product, HOLY FLAWLESS BB CUSHION! I understand if you may not often wearing BB cushion or foundation during this pandemic, but hey, you probably can consider this cushion as an exception! Why? Read the whole review below to find out.

What it is :

Holy Flawless BB Cushion is one of LOOKE Cosmetics’s the best-selling product that contains Green Tea Extract and Hyaluronic Acid. Green tea extract is good as antioxidant, control production of sebum, antibacterial agent for treating acne and unclogging pores, photoprotective agent against UV radiation. Hyaluronic Acid works well to give hydration and stimulate collagen production to prevent anti-aging and pigmentation issue.

The difference of special edition product with the normal version is this BB cushion comes with a special pouch which exquisitely designed by Indonesian illustrator, Fifiani, who inspired by The Goddess of Dawn named Eos.

PACKAGING :

Simple, minimalist, yet classy square black cushion that comes with safely sealed black paper box and a cute, fancy illustrated pouch. The cushion is very light yet sturdy, it has decent mirror and the product is also sealed with sticker. The sponge is very soft and able to take sufficient amount of the BB liquid.

TEXTURE :

Light to medium creamy texture with mild powdery scent.

REVIEW :

This cushion has medium coverage with satin-matte finish. First I thought that it’s going to be a little bit too thick for my skin but apparently it’s not! It feels so light on my skin and it blends easily too, seems like I don’t wear any BB cream! I like how it makes my skin looks soft and smooth in just one layer. Although it can’t totally cover my blemish but I think this product is very good as day to night cushion because its staying power is quite amazing! I wear it from around 9 am and at 5 pm it’s still on point, just slightly oily in T-zone area but it doesn’t really bother me. Does it transfer to cloth or mask? The answer is yes, but just a few. The only one thing that I probably dislike is that the shade that I chose (the lightest one), IRIS, is slightly darker than my actual skin and it’s more to pinkish, you can refer to my Before-After photo to check on its finish result. Anyway that’s okay, I hope they will launch more shade of this BB cushion in the future.

PROS :

• Elegant, minimalist packaging with fancy pouch
• Satin-matte finish with light to medium creamy texture
• Blends easily, makes skin soft and smooth
• Good staying power (day to night cushion)
• Doesn’t transfer to cloth or mask too much

CONS :

• IRIS is slightly darker than my actual skin and more pinkish

I like how LOOKE Cosmetics very consistent on how they bring Greek goddess as their muses and inspiration of their products. The names are very enchanting and the quality of their products never got me upset. This cushion too, I would definitely wear it as my everyday cushion, thanks to its good staying power! I also wish they could produce more shade for their BB cushion though 😊. Overall, this cushion is worth to try as it suits for Asian people.
