I am 158 cm tall and based on international standards I recon that I am considered as petite, although in Asian standard my height is considered normal. I am not going to deny, when it comes to shoes I prefer to wear comfortable flats or sneakers as daily wear but sometimes they make me even look more petite especially when I wear midi dress or trouser (maybe it’s also because of my 1:1 body ratio).

Therefore I opt for wearing heels whenever I have to attend special events such as important meeting, fashion or beauty event, relative’s wedding, or even dating, lol. But yeah, I always feel heeled shoes makes me more confident and lady-like, are you with me all petite girls out there?

I own several pairs of heels but I can’t fit in any kind of heels because some heels give me a total disaster because they make my legs even look shorter and not appealing at all. So, after several trial and error of choosing the right shoes for my short legs, I found out these shoes are the most suitable for me because they make my legs look taller, slimmer, and most important is: they look stylish!

1.POINTED TOE PUMPS HEELS

Yup, it has to be pointed so our feet look more feminine and slimmer. I usually prefer basic yet colorful form of pumps heels but sometimes I like to challenge myself to give some accents to my foot wear: leopard print, for example. It turns out great anyway! It suits with any minimalist outfit because it can elevate the look very well, I mostly wear it with trousers or midi-length dress. I have one pair of leopard print shoes (to be honest it was my sister’s but she didn’t like it and I own hers, lol) and surprisingly it becomes one of my favorite shoes and I keep wearing it until now!

2.OPEN TOE STRAP HEELS

This type of heels is my favorite pair for a semi-casual event and whenever I want to show off my toe nails. I always opt for neutral color such as white or beige like what you can see from Milanoo collection below, they suit for any outfit and looks perfect together. I like to wear these shoes with mini dress or playsuit to make me look like 170 cm tall!

3.OVER THE KNEE BOOTS

One thing I like the most about going overseas is probably I can wear over the knee boots. Fyi, Indonesia has tropical season all year long so it’s a no to wear OTK boots here. However, my obsession towards this sexy boots is unbearable. Whenever I visit another country in spring or autumn season, I always bring a pair of OTK boots with me because it goes well with any outfit, makes me look stylish and taller instantly! You only need to invest at least one pair of it and you’re good!
