[REVIEW] DR.BRONNER’S – ORGANIC LIQUID SOAP YOU SHOULD TRY IMMEDIATELY

I did a quick poll few days ago on Instagram Stories and I found out that most of friends are more into liquid soap than bar soap. I think it’s quite predictable because I feel that liquid soap is doing better job of cleaning, has more variety of scents, and most liquid soap that I know has lower pH so it’s safe for sensitive skin. Those are the reasons why I like to try different type of liquid soap, especially these days, when we have to pay extra attention to hygiene from head to toe.

Recently, I’ve been changing my liquid soap to this organic oil based liquid soap from Dr.Bronner’s and I can tell you that this liquid soap is quite one of a kind. Their Pure-Castile Liquid Soap is clinically proven as multi wash product, not just for body but also for face, or even for anything you want to cleanse as it claims as 18-in-1 uses liquid soap. Interesting, isn’t it? That’s why I give it a go and share with you to know specifically how this liquid soap works on me. Let’s start scrolling!

What it is :

Dr.Bronner’s Pure-Castile Soap is a vegetable oil-based liquid soap ( coconut oil, olive oil, jojoba oil, and palm kernel oil ) which has 18-in-1 uses :

Washing face, body, hands, and hair.
Bathing, shaving brushing teeth.
Rinsing fruit, washing dishes by hand.
For aromatherapy.
Doing laundry, mopping floors, washing windows, scrubbing toilets, all-purpose cleaning.
Washing dogs.
Controlling dust mites, ants, and aphids.

All of Dr.Bronner’s soaps are good to improve hydration, remove dead skin cells, lighten pores, maintain sebum levels, remove blackheads, improve skin radiance, facial lifting, and making skin clean, moist without leaving any residue.

PACKAGING :
Super light yet sturdy tube bottle that is securely sealed. Simple design with all ingredients and description written on the label clearly. I personally not a fan of the bottle cap with a hole to take out the product because most of the times the product is dripping too much.

TEXTURE :
Light, watery texture with slightly strong yet natural fragrance (based on the variant).

REVIEW :
(I use 3 variants of Dr Bronner’s Pure Castile : lavender, rose, and baby unscented).

As BODY WASH :
Frankly, I was quite skeptical at first when it claimed that it has 18-in-1 uses but as a woman with tons of curiosity, I prove some of the uses. Of course I use it for shower and as you and I can guess: it’s AMAZING! I can create the foam easily and it feels so tender for my skin. It smells so good even after rinsing and It stays for about 3-4 hours (especially for lavender variant since it has the strongest scent). My skin feels super smooth and it doesn’t leave any sticky feeling, AT ALL.

As FACIAL FOAM :
Besides using it as body wash, I also try this liquid soap as facial wash. I use organic Baby Unscented for my face as it doesn’t contain any fragrance and surprisingly it’s not bad! I pour it onto my palm 2-3 drops and make foam with my hands before applying it onto my face. My face feels so clean and smooth although it doesn’t give extra moisture to my skin, plus after that my skin around eye area feels slightly dry, but it doesn’t last long so I assume the formula is quite strong for thin skin.

As AROMATERAPHY :
I pour few drops of organic Lavender liquid soap into my diffuser, just like how I use it as essential oil and it surprisingly works! Although the scent of lavender is not as strong as essential oil, but I can smell the scent comes out from the diffuser. It’s very calming and refreshing. But, however, I don't recommend it to be used for a long time as the texture becomes more sticky and might be a problem for the diffuser.

PROS :

Light yet sturdy, securely sealed packaging.
It has quite lot of attractive variants.
Light, watery texture with natural fragrance.
All organic ingredients (no detergent, vegan based oils).
Multi purpose use
It gives soft and smooth result and leaves the scent for quite a long time.

CONS :

Bottle cap hole makes the product dripping too much.

Although they claims it has 18 ways to use this liquid soap, I decided to stick with those three first because I am not sure to use this soap for brushing teeth or even doing laundry. Anyway, ever since I used this liquid soap, my skin becomes so smooth after shower and now I always get more excited every time I am going to have shower thanks to this liquid soap!
