Not everyone can pull off one shoulder dress perfectly, who's with me ? Yeah, I think one shoulder dress is quite challenging to be styled as we need to balance the asymmetrical form and also it could show-off our fleshy armpit *oops*. Thus, after doing some trial and error, finally I found some tips on how to style one shoulder dress, especially for you who has short legs like me :) Here's how :

1. When you choose to buy one shoulder dress, pick one with the ruffles.
If you're not confident enough with the plain one, ruffles will accentuate your look and also it could slightly cover your armpit. For you guys who have small boobs, ruffled one shoulder dress is totally for you, because it gives more volume to chest part. From these pictures, I picked ruffled one shoulder dress from VIP Plaza. It is made from crepe fabric so the two layered ruffles draped perfectly.

2. Do not wear opened-toe heels, choose closed-toe pump heels instead.
Opened-toe heels will makes your legs look shorter while closed-toe heels will makes you look taller and feminine. If the color of your one shoulder dress is too ordinary, you can pair it with statement shoes or strap heels just like me.

3. Put your statement accesories.
You can say that I am a big fan of accesories, well, indeed, because accesories are the most important pieces which will help you to elevate your look. For this one shoulder dress, I paired with Trendy Tassel Wood Shell Ear Drop Elegant Earrings from Banggood, statement bracelet, black clutch, and gold tiny belt. If you're not confident enough with tunic dress just like what you see on my dress, then belt is the best idea to accentuate your waist, so you will not looking too plain.



 


Last, but not least, mind your hair style. Up-do hair style will be perfect for this look, but as I don't really like to show too much skin, then wavy hair is also okay as long as it doesn't cover the one shoulder form.
