As a girl who have 5 ft 2.2 in ( or 158 cm ) tall, sometimes it's quite difficult for me to find the right summer outfit that currently on trend. It's because not all styles can fit my petite body, some are just too much for me or makes me even look shorter, bigger than I am. I realize that there are many girls out there who have the same struggle with me on finding style that is on trend but suits for our body type - that's why I am writing this post to share some tips on how to wear summer outfit trend which perfect for petite girls and you can actually find them easily at stores around you :)

1. YELLOW PLAID MINI DRESS
Mini dress is something we can always cherish. Celebrating the summer color trend this year, you can try wear yellow plaid mini dress paired with oversized denim jacket and chunky heels for a picnic look.

2. STATEMENT SLEEVES FLORAL PLAYSUIT 
Playsuit with heels can somehow give height illusion because it makes our leg looks longer and skinnier while floral prints is everyone's favorite during this summer time. Choose playsuit that doesn't have waist line and comes in loose cut so that you can move your body easier for a whole day play. Moreover, since asymmetrical sleeve is really on trend ( thanks to Self Portrait ), you can wear it cool with your favorite sunnies.

3. STRIPES CULOTTE
This would probably becomes everyone's pick, not only for petite girls. Stripes still becomes the summer trend that everyone can wear because it's very comfortable, versatile, and stylish. Pair your favorite stripes culotte with any fresh color like for example this teal colored wrap top, satin pumps, and turban as the headpiece.

4. POINT OUT YOUR WAIST LINE
Always wear something that high-waisted because it always make our legs longer than ever. While to adjust with current trend, try to wear smocked peplum top to enhance your curve, then complete it with statement belt to make it seen even more.

5. ASYMMETRICAL WRAP RUFFLE DRESS
To make your look completely chic and stylish, try to wear wrap dress in unusual way. Choose asymmetrical wrap dress that made from soft, comfortable fabric, could be in different print or sleeves form, length form, etc. For this style I wore, I picked it from ZAFUL, this one shoulder leaf print A-line dress has a certain statement on the sleeves part and the double layer ruffles at the skirt part. Don't forget to style the belt as well ( you can also wear it as headpiece anyway ) and complete it with statement mules. If you're more into bright colors, then choose bright colors from head to toe, while if you're more into dark colors, just do the same way as well. For this style, since your dress and shoes already give so much statement, you don't actually need more accessories to make it more bold, just wear the simple one instead.

    Yes I'm ready for pretty dresses to keep cool and stylish this summer! I totally know what you mean about finding the right dress for your body type. It's crazy with so many different styles to choose from.
