Shirt dress is one of the most essential item we all should have in our wardrobe because it can become a helper for us when we don't know what to wear. However, there's a strong statement that may cause us to decide to not buy shirt dress anymore : the basic form of shirt dress makes it less stylish and can only be used once ( or several times ). Frankly, I used to think like that too, but then I found the answer how to update my basic shirt dress : play layering game. Yes, it's the ultimate idea to update any basic clothes and I am pretty sure you all agree about that. Just like this blue office shirt dress that I got from Altimah, this dress is quite basic and doesn't have any major detailing, so I decided to pull my bustier peplum top to overlay the dress then I paired it with the shirt dress's belt, navy long coat, silver pumps, then completed with the touch of monochrome from the checkers clutch. Here it is, the shades of blue !
