Back again with another product review and this one is from Cathy Doll, which known as one of the biggest Korean cosmetic brand in Asia. This AA ( Automatic Aura ) Matte Powder Cushion may sounds familiar for Asia people because there are lot of good reviews about this product. Luckily, I got chance to try this AA cushion ( many thanks to Cathydoll Indonesia ) and now it's my turn to present my honest review about this product, so please keep reading :)

What it is :
Matte powder cushion with 5 benefits :
- Sun cream, base makeup, concealer, foundation, powder in a cushion along with cool and light sensation. For all skin types.
- Contains pearl pigment for Auto Aura effect for a brighter, long lasting makeup.
- Anti aging.
- Anti acne, oil control, reduce big pores, and eliminates dark spots.
- Brighten skin tone.

How to use :
Use the puff to press onto the cushion to absorb an appropriate amount of the foundation texture, then gently blend the puff all over facial skin evently.

It comes in 6 shades :
#21 Light Beige, #22 Fair Beige, #23 Natural Beige, #24 Medium Beige, #25 Sand Beige, and #26 Honey Beige.










PACKAGING :
Fuchsia pink - light turquoise compact which has super cute kind of 'party vibe' pattern. The cushion is perfectly sealed ( both paper box and the cushion itself ) and the size is pretty decent.

TEXTURE : 
Light, soft watery texture with slight tea tree oil scent.

RESULT :
I usually pick the lightest shade to match with my skin tone, but for the first time, I found out that this #21 Light Beige is way too bright from what I expected. However, it is so easy to blend because it has light, soft watery texture. It also has powdery matte finish but luckily it doesn't dry my face at all. As you can see from picture above, I only need a very small amount to cover my whole face ( I did tap motion to blend it ). It could perfectly cover my dark circles and redness, I don't even need concealer ! For the staying power, it's pretty decent too. It could stay for more than 5 hours before oil starts to appear, but luckily I don't have any breakout after using this product.

PROS :
- Cute packaging
- Safely sealed
- Easily blended
- Economic ( only need small amount to cover whole face )
- Medium to high coverage
- Good staying power
- Perfect for all skin type

CONS :
- A bit bulky

I must say that this product claims what it has said. I think this AA cushion will be perfect as travel companion because it could replace sun screen, concealer, foundation, and base makeup's function so it could reduce our makeup bag size. This product is also for all skin type, so I recommend this AA cushion to all of you who love matte finish makeup, you will not regret it, but make sure you will not pick the wrong shade just like me, lol !

    Sometimes I wished I was in Asia, and maybe then I'd have a lot more exposure to these effective asian products!! This looks like a really good foundation and base that I'd definitely want to try. That 4.75 rating ;)
